About This Production

Capital City Productions is holding its first annual Founder’s Cabaret at the New Central Bank Auditorium, and you’re invited!
You’ll laugh, cry, fall in love, and be inspired by the music of one of Broadway’s most famous and prolific composers, Stephen Sondheim, sung by over 27 of CCP’s finest performers, past and present.
“Side By Side By Sondheim” will bring you some of Sondheim’s most unforgettable songs from his hit shows such as “West Side Story,” “Gypsy,” “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum,” “Company,” “Follies,” and “A Little Night Music.”
This year is Stephen Sondheim’s 90th birthday, and CCP is celebrating this milestone in grand style with this Founder’s Cabaret directed by our founder Rob Crouse.
This production will be a perfect introduction to the work of this contemporary master for new theatre goers and a must see for diehard musical theatre fans.
Stephen Sondheim has been the leading composer of musical theatre for the past 60 years. Now you have the rare opportunity to hear a dazzling array of some of his most well known songs performed in one magical performance.
